Ngahere Ora, Forest Wellbeing...

In 2020 we grew our protected by 263h area to help kiwi and other native birds recover.

We needed 533 AT220s to do it.

For over a year we worked on an ambitious plan to double the size of our pest control project by field-trialling the battery operated NZ Autotraps AT220.

Kiekie Flower Surrounded by Tāwhara Bracts

The project, named Ngahere Ora, cost over $300,000. We are so grateful to have the expences of this project covered by DOC, Foundation North, our corporate partners, and, private donors.

Huge ups to the team at NZ AutoTraps along with donors, volunteers and workers for helping be a part of the solution. I believe the AT220, with continual improvements, has a great future and has earned its place in the kete.

Kia ora!
